On 18 October last year, the Brescia Area Authority (Ufficio d’Ambito di Brescia) approved the update of the Integrated Water Service tariffs for 2024 and 2025. The tariff revision reflects the resolutions of the national Authority ARERA (917/2017/R/idr, 580/2019/R/idr, 639/2021/R/idr, 639/2023/R/idr) and is driven by the need to realign the costs actually incurred and reported by operators with those recognised under the tariff method currently in force (MTI-4).
Acque Bresciane SB has therefore updated its tariffs in line with the guidance and timescales set by the Brescia Area Authority, which decided:
- to apply the current year’s increases to the municipalities served by Acque Bresciane in 2024, calculating adjustments against amounts already billed where necessary, including those arising from the change of operator;
- to apply the increases set for the year to the municipalities served by Acque Bresciane in 2025.
The average tariff increase for 2024 and 2025 also reflects the Brescia Area Authority’s efforts to gradually harmonise tariffs across the province.
